I shoot with a Canon XTi DSLR

Thank you for visiting my website. I'm D. Sharon Pruitt, a 38 year old freelance photographer and artist based out of Clearfield, Utah, USA. I'm married with 6 children and LGBT friendly. Friends from my past that may be looking for me, my maiden name was Sharon Mattheson, and I gradutated from Exeter Area High School, in New Hampshire with the class of 1987. I specialize in colorful photography with a unique twist, theme and concept photography, musician and band album cover art and press packets, alternative model headshots and unique portraiture. Pink Sherbet Photography is LGBT and family friendly and offers freelance photography services to include the gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, and questioning community.

I shoot on location using natural light. I prefer scheduling photoshoots on weekends and I can provide transportation if needed for local models in the Layton, Clearfield, Kaysville, Sunset, Roy and South Ogden areas.

I enjoy working with non-traditional, alternative models of all ages, sizes, ethnicities and genders that have unique, extreme and/or bizarre styles and features such as piercings, tattoos, freckles, birth marks, scars, extreme hair, and stong facial features. I'd also be happy working with models of very short stature, those with dwarfism and physically challenged models.

The photographs are a collection of beautiful moments as seen through my eyes. They are ordinary seconds in time which, when paused, become the canvas upon which I introduce color, texture and emotion. Suddenly, these shutter stops become gripping. My style is purely formed from "ordinary" smiles, laughter, nature, stillness, excitement, ecstasy, anguish and passion evident in all aspects of everyday life. They are gems evident in all peoples' everyday lives; they simply require the ability to be recognized and captured.
